History of Thai Language Field

          Thai Language Field, Rajabhat Suansunandha University formerly was Section of Thai Language responsible in learning and teaching plan for students studying in Suansunandha College School. Thai subject is a compulsory course in every curriculum in the Curriculum of Primary Education Teacher Grade (Phor.Phor), Secondary Education Teacher Grade (Phor.Mor.), Academic Certificate (Phor.KorSor.), Higher Education Certificate (Higher Phor.Kor.Sor) and students choosing to study Thai language subject to be major or minor subject.

          B.E. 2501 (1958), Suansunandha College School was promoted to be Suansunandha Teacher's College.
          B.E. 2517 (1964), Suansunandha Teacher's College opened for teaching Bachelor's Degree (2 years), college's curriculum of education, opening for both major and minor subject in Thai language.
          B.E. 2523 (1970), The Council for Teacher Education approved 4-year Bachelor's Degree, that is, there were Thai learning and study in both major and minor general subject.
          B.E. 2542 (1999), Department of Thai Language opened for enrollment in Thai Program's student in secondary education and humanities and social science field. The Department was responsible to teach major and minor general subject in both secondary education (Bachelor of Education).
          B.E. 2543 (2000), The Department of Thai Language changed an administration into Thai Language Program.
          B.E. 2548 (2005), The Thai Language Program changed an administration into Thai Language Field.
